While Arafura Conveyancing can make the sale process smooth and easy, there are still some things you will need to do, but Arafura Conveyancing can guide you here as well.
-
Prior to putting your home on the market, Arafura Conveyancing can ensure your contract covers any issues with your home such as unapproved building works, GST, tenants or any covenants over your property.
-
Sign any discharge of mortgage or other authorities provided by Arafura Conveyancing to discharge your loan or other encumbrances over the property and the transfer in a timely manner.
-
As utilities are personal, you will need to organise final readings and disconnection or transfer of electricity, gas, phone etc services to your new home
-
Building Insurance should NOT be cancelled until after settlement as the property is at your risk until that date. You can then claim a refund of any portion of the premium to which you may be entitled.
